Cross-Andes pass closed, delay for Argentinean shipments via Chile Be advised that due to winter storms the international tunnel between Argentina (Mendoza) and Chile is closed today and will delay Argentinean shipments via Chile. Storms are forecast for the next three days; see the regional satellite weather map at weather.com. Also note that Friday, July 9th is a national holiday in Argentina and local offices will be closed. We will continue provide updates on further developments.
